Congo, Brazzaville, 2007 Two Chinese employees of the Chinese company WIETC and their Congolese translator are photographing the Bagongo site where WIETC is constructing 40 villas at the place of hundreds of shacks that have been demolished. The undeclared objective of the Bacongo project is to substitute a part of the population of the neighborhood, famous for being a stronghold of the Ninjas rebels that have fought here some of the most dramatic battles of the civil war (1997-2001).
