957. China, Wenzhou, 2007 Xiang Yang Yé, (on the left), known as Philippe in Congo, at the Trust-Mart Vegas KTV karaoke in Wenzhou, his hometown. He is celebrating with a childhood friend his brief Chinese vacation. Philippe lives in Africa were he has not become rich yet but has made “just a few million dollars” as he says. In Congo, Philippe and his 80 member strong family, are active in almost all areas: restaurants, nightclubs, retail, construction materials, cement import and precious wood logging and export. While in China he is recruiting skilled workers for the launch of three new businesses in Congo: car spare parts import, a furniture plant and a cigarette factory.
